  7-7:45pm, July 18th, 2018 on Zoom Meetings

Every one is going to die, nobody gets out of it! Our identities are changed when we talk about death.

Generally speaking, people are death phobic and this event aims to release the phobia with the ultimate creation of a warm embrace to death and dying process.

Sadly death carries a stigma of failure, shame and regret. People die and loved ones go right back into movement of life by sweeping things under the rug. I have seen it with the families I have served and in my own family. My hope is that together we can begin to transform our thinking about mortality and feel more alive today by doing so.

Jewish Tradition tells us to say this to one who grieves and mourns that goes like this: May you always be comforted amongst those who mourn.

My Temple, the temple of my broken heart, tells me to feel this…

May we always and in all ways be of comfort to those before they mourn….

And it is because I have become quite comfortable with this part of life, it is my prayer is to pass along this comfort to others.
